Our Story
Inspired by my Congolese heritage, I grew up experiencing the true and sacred beauty of Africa especially through food and art. Empowered by my Congolese moms who would come together to make some of our traditional meals from scratch while telling stories about them, I held those memories to heart and always wanted to share them.
Ubuntu was then created to share the ingenuity, love and innovation across our motherland and truly take you on a journey to explore, reclaim and honor our identities.
From the authenticity of our crafts to the diversity of our foods, and all the beautiful stories behind them, let’s get together and enjoy this ride.
